Texoma Healthcare Center is located in Sherman, Texas, which is approximately 60 miles north of Dallas and 25 miles south of the Oklahoma border. We are located at 1000 Highway 82 East and have been in this location since 1981. However, our facility was originally established in 1962. The population of our town is estimated to be about 35,000 people.
We are a non-smoking facility and are licensed for a total of 179 patients and accept Private Pay, Medicare, Medicaid, Insurance and Respite patients. Our reputation is well-known throughout the area for providing quality nursing care in the community for more than 40 years. Case managers, social workers, home health agencies and doctors use our facility as one of their primary referral sources. Our Medical Director, an independent physician, is Nathan Watson, who is one of the most prominent geriatric doctors in this area.
